AFTER GRADUATION

When applying for the TRP until the end of studies, it is usually issued by the Migration Department for a period of three months longer than the study period.

After graduation, you can apply for a new TRP for 12 additional months in order to look for a job in Lithuania. Instead of the mediation letter from the University, you will have to submit your graduation diploma (read more section “I am a foreigner who has completed studies in Lithuania or a researcher who has completed research and experimental development work”).

The main objective of the Student Life Guide is to encourage students’ autonomy, different activities and also to ensure the smooth integration to the biggest academic community in Lithuania. Besides that, it is also a great communication tool that lets the first year students to get acquainted with their rights, duties and most important university’s processes in order to successfully start and end the study years.

For more than 10 years the Student Life Guide has been a publication in which the first year students could find the useful, beneficial and clearly presented information about what is waiting for them by taking this new step in their lives. This year the project has moved to the Internet which made fiding the needed information much easier!
